El mundo árabe atraviesa una de las crisis más graves de su historia, crisis que en ciertos países la rebeldía popular hizo transformar la situación sociopolítica en guerra civil, a veces fratricida. La defensa de los valores democráticos y los derechos humanos constituyen la principal reivindicación de los pueblos árabes. Pero las tendencias islamistas y terroristas acabaron por agravar la situación amenazando la estabilidad geopolítica no solamente regional sino también en zonas ajenas al conflicto y ello, ante la expectativa de las potencias mundiales.

Abstract

The Arab World is going through one of the worst crisis of its history, and popular rebellion in certain countries  ended up by turning it into a civil war. Standing for democratic values and human rights is the main reivindication tool for the Arabic nations. However, Islam and terrorist forces managed to take the situation to a next level, threatening the sociopolitical stability not only  inside local boundries, but also in regions held outside the conflict, as well as the expectations of world Powers.
