El presente artículo es una reflexión sobre la idiosincrasia del Post-teatro que pone de manifiesto el aspecto arquitectónico del edificio post-teatral. En forma de caracol, la nueva catedral teatral está destinada a convertirse en un espacio utópico - utopos - de negación y afirmación. Niega el planteamiento estético hasta ahora imperante y oferta un nuevo teatro que concita los ritos y rituales como realidad mítico-erótica, que hace del Post-teatro una estética iconoclasta que asume la autoría de la muerte del teatro convencional.

 

Abstract:

This article is a reflection on the idiosyncrasy of the Post-theater which makes explicit the architectural aspect of the post-theater building. With the shape of a snail, the new theater cathedral is destined to become a utopian space – utopos – of negation and affirmation. It denies the esthetical setting in vigour till then and offers a new theater which brings together rites and rituals as a mythical erotic reality which turns the Post-theater into an iconoclastic aesthetic, thus, assuming the authorship of the death of the conventional theater.
