En las últimas cinco décadas, la Historia Oral y la Historia Reciente se han posicionado como espacios de reflexión académica en los que sobresalen la participación de la mujer en la investigación: Marieta de Moraes Ferreira y María Paula Nascimento Araújo, de Brasil; Eugenia Meyer, Graciela de Garay y María Patricia Pensado Leglise, de México;  Liliana Barela, de Argentina y  Silvia Dutrénit Bielous, de Uruguay/México, son reconocidos y respetados referentes, que tras décadas de arduo trabajo de análisis crítico, reflexión teórico-metodológica y de construcción del conocimiento científico, han logrado un posicionamiento a nivel continental. En esta investigación, ellas se transforman en objeto de estudio a través de sus testimonios sobre su propio quehacer académico, sus aportaciones, su experiencia compartida y su legado en el presente siglo.

half a century of sustained research with gender equality

 

Abstract

On the last five decades, Oral History and Recent History have positioned themselves as academic reflection spaces in which the participation of scientific women stands out. The aim of this presentation is to analyze the academic and professional career of seven Latin American researchers who work in these fields of knowledge, to learn about their contributions, their shared experience and legacy in this century. It is intended to reflect that in the space of Humanities, especially in this area of knowledge, the researchers have succeeded, after a hard work of critical analysis and theoretical and methodological reflection about the construction of scientific knowledge, a worthy position to recover, mention, value and be recognized both at continental and international levels.
