Abstract
This work tries to rescue an important Puerto Rican playwright, Abniel Marat, a homosexual who produced a valuable and widely extended dramatic corpus since the eighties. We want to proof that he was pioneer and model in the queer discourse in Puerto Rico. Finally, we try to demonstrate the profound value of his dramatic literature, rejected and excluded for a long time from the dramatic and literature studies because of his queer and provocative disclosure about sexuality.
