A partir del 2013 se ha ido formando un movimiento a nivel nacional estadounidense bautizado por el nombre de Latinx Theatre Commons (LTC). Se auto define como un movimiento vital y una  red virtual y presencial de voluntarios artistas, teatreros, diseñadores, directores, dramaturgos e investigadores que está, no solamente cambiando el modo de promover las obras escritas y montadas por latinos y latinas en los Estados Unidos, sino que pretende empoderarlos concretamente a través de su estructura basada en el compartir de bienes comunes. Esta aproximación se basa en el concepto y práctica de licencias Commons y Creative Commons  utilizadas por los defensores de la idea filosófica y la práctica económica de compartir libremente bienes comunes para el beneficio general y no el particular. Corre paralela a los conceptos y prácticas alter-mundialistas.

Abstract:

Since 2013 a new movement has been emerging at the national level in the USA by the name of the Latinx Theatre Commons (LTC). It defines itself as a living movement, a virtual and physical network of volunteer artists, theater makers, designers, directors, playwrights, dramaturgs and scholars that is, not only changing the way in which written and produced works by Latinas and Latinos in the US are being promoted, but its purpose is to empower them concretely through its structure based on the commons-based approach. This approximation is based on the concept and practice of the Commons and Creative Commons licensing, employed by those who defend the principles and economic practices of freely sharing commons goods for the benefit of all and not just the particular. It runs parallel to the concepts and practices of alter-globalization.
