Este trabajo se propone reflexionar sobre el proceso de creación de la videodanza Sobre os Véus das Ninfas (Sobre los Velos de las Ninfas) escrito por el Grupo COMTE de la institución CEFET-MG, Brasil (2014). Este vídeo trata de la traducción semiótica del poema homónimo de Olga Valeska escrito en homenaje a la obra L'Après-midi d'un Faune (1912) del bailarín ruso Nijinsky. En el análisis de la obra, nos damos cuenta de que el vídeo interactúa fuertemente con una de las cuestiones que motivaron la creación del poema al autor: "¿cuál es el punto de ruptura entre la entrega amorosa y la extraña inquietud del "otro"?"

Abstract

This paper proposes to reflect on the process of creating the move dance "Sobre os Véus das Ninfas” (On the Veils of the Nymphs) authored by the COMTE Group of the CEFET-MG (2014). This video seeks a semiotic translation of the homonymous poem by Olga Valeska written in tribute to the work L'Apres-midi d'un Faune (The Afternoon of a Faun) by Russian dancer Nijinsky (1912). In analysis of this work, we realize that it strongly interacts with one of the issues that motivated the creation of the poem to the author: "what the breaking point between loving surrender and unsettling strangeness of the 'other’?"
