El presente artículo es el resultado de un acercamiento desde una mirada decolonialista al tambor étnico y su historia en el continente, procurado dar respuesta a la existencia del instrumento originario en vinculación con diversos pueblos indígenas y sus usos específicos a partir de lo que encierra gran parte del pluriverso cosmogónico aborigen a lo largo y ancho del Abya Yala, propósito que permitió entretejer en una corta lectura un conjunto de escritos e imágenes de gran valor histórico sobre el tambor heredado, incluyendo citas con modismos y giros propios de la lengua barroca que contienen algunas palabras arcaicas, las cuales ciertamente restan un poco de flexibilidad a la lectura pero que se consideran claves para complementar lo argumentado.

Abstract

The present article is the result of an approach from a decolonialist perspective to the ethnic drum and its history in the continent, trying to respond to the existence of the original instrument in connection with different indigenous peoples and their specific uses based on what has a large part of the Aboriginal cosmogonic pluriverse across the length and breadth of the Abya Yala, a purpose that allowed to interweave in a short reading a set of writings and images of great historical value on the inherited drum, including quotes with idioms and twists of the Baroque language that contain some archaic words, which certainly reduce a bit of reading flexibility but are considered key to complement the argument.
