El presente trabajo intenta dar a conocer la militancia contra la violencia de género que desarrolla el Movimiento de Trabajadores Rurales Sin Tierra (MST) de Brasil a través del teatro del oprimido en el marco de la Brigada Nacional de Teatro del MST Patativa do Assaré. Estudiamos la pieza teatral: Mulher da roça intentando  responder a lo siguiente: cómo atraviesa la lucha de la mujer, en cuanto mujer, con la lucha campesina de los Sin Tierra, en la pieza de teatro del oprimido Mulher da roça.

Abstract

This article describes the political militancy against gender violence that develops the Movement of Rural Landless Workers of Brazil (MST). This expressed through the theater of the oppressed technic and cultural expression. We will approach the topic through the piece: Mulher da roça. One important insight will try to correlate both struggles: the struggle from women for their rights and the struggle from a farm woman from the “Sin Tierra” movement, this all seen from the theater of the oppressed unput and perspective.
