Bitter Moon es una de las películas de Roman Polanski en las que se pueden observar rasgos feministas. El presente artículo pretende comentar el origen y el desarrollo de dichos rasgos y la justificación que adquiere el sadomasoquismo en una de las dos parejas protagonistas. Estas relaciones de dominio también han estado presentes en las relaciones internacionales, una lectura que el guion invita a hacer. En base a todo ello, se reflexionará sobre la vigencia de estos planteamientos.

Abstract

Bitter Moon is one of the films by Roman Polanski in which feminist features can be noticed. The aim of this article is to discuss the origin and development of those features and the justification of sadomasochism in one of the two protagonist couples. These dominant relations have also been present in international relations, an interpretation which the script invites to do. On the basis of all this, a reflection will be done on the validity of these approaches.
