O presente artigo propõe uma análise do modo de representação da mulher na obra Hamlet de William Shakespeare, a partir da análise do discurso da personagem, Hamlet, sobre a mãe e sobre Ofélia. Meu objetivo neste artigo é observar como esse discurso significa no contexto de sua produção e como a ideologia manifestada nele significa até os dias atuais. Partido destas observações, também buscarei verificar no discurso religioso e no mito, dados que possam influenciar nos modos de representação da mulher na obra literária em análise, para tanto, fundamento minha discussão com base nas noções de análise do discurso e representação, em uma perspectiva feminista, respaldada por teórico(a)s como: Eni Orlandi,  Michel Pêcheux, Jean Delumeau e Roberto Sicuteri, dentre outros.

Abstract

This article proposes an analysis of the mode of representation of the woman in the work Hamlet of William Shakespeare, from the analysis of the speech of the character, Hamlet, on the mother and on Ophelia. My purpose in this article is to observe how this discourse means in the context of its production and how its ideology manifests itself today. from these observations, I will also try to verify, in religious discourse and myth, data that may influence the ways in which women are represented in the literary work under analysis, which is why I base my discussion on the notions of speech analysis and representation in a feminist perspective , supported by the theorists as: Eni Orlandi, Michel Pêcheux, Jean Delumeau and Roberto Sicuteri, among others.
