De la España republicana saldrían expulsados o como refugiados unas 15.000 personas, mayoritariamente civiles, como resultado de una guerra intestina que había durado tres años. La Historia oficial del franquismo se olvidó de ellos, articuló una narrativa manipulada y enfocada a dirigir un olvido, un desconocimiento absoluto de ese sufrimiento que negó o descalificó en sus justificaciones. Este artículo pretende recuperar la memoria histórica de este pueblo para así poner de manifiesto el derecho fundamental de los pueblos al acceso a la verdad tan vital para poder recuperar el tejido social y la reconstrucción de las relaciones sociales fuertemente influidas por los discursos oficiales.

Abstract

Some 15,000 people, mostly civilians, would be expelled or become refugees from republican Spain as a result of an internal war that had lasted three years. The official history of Francoism forgot about them, articulated a manipulated narrative focused on directing oblivion, an absolute ignorance of that suffering that was denied or disqualified in its justifications. This article aims to recover the historical memory of this people in order to reveal the fundamental right of the people to access the truth so vital to recover the social fabric and the reconstruction of social relations strongly influenced by official discourses.
