Entrevista a Giuseppe Spadafora, profesor de la Universidad de la Calabria, Italia

En el sur de Italia se encuentra la Universidad de la Calabria, donde el Profesor Giuseppe Spadafora a la cabeza de un equipo de investigadores han desarrollado un trabajo sobresaliente en el estudio de las obras de John Dewey, el filósofo y educador norteamericano. El Profesor Spadafora me ha invitado para dialogar sobre la educación en Italia y México, escuchar las conferencias de Leonard Waks, experto en John Dewey, charlar con estudiantes y maestros de la universidad, disfrutar de la Calabria y conocer los trabajos que él y su equipo realizan sobre la escuela como laboratorio, la democracia y la educación, la didáctica de la acción y la escuela inclusiva de alta cualidad, temas inspirados en la obra de John Dewey. Durante varios días, en charlas de café, vino calabrese, antipasto y ricas viandas, realizamos esta entrevista donde el investigador italiano comparte sus experiencias e ideas sobre John Dewey y la implementación de su modelo educativo en Italia.

Abstract

In southern Italy is the University of Calabria, where Professor Giuseppe Spadafora at the head of a team of researchers have developed an outstanding work in the study of the works of John Dewey, the North American philosopher and educator. Professor Spadafora has invited me to discuss education in Italy and Mexico, listen to lectures by Leonard Waks, an expert on John Dewey, chat with students and teachers from the university, enjoy Calabria and learn about the works that he and his team they carry out about the school as a laboratory, democracy and education, the didactics of action and the inclusive high quality school, themes inspired by the work of John Dewey. During several days, in talks about coffee, Calabrese wine, antipasto and rich meats, we conducted this interview where the Italian researcher shares his experiences and ideas about John Dewey and the implementation of his educational model in Italy.
