Este artigo tem por objetivo refletir sobre a tipologia textual do Atlas Linguístico do Brasil – AliB, e descrever como ele se configura como inventário lexicográfico  (Haensch, 1997), sendo auxiliado pela teoria da Multimodalidade (Pontes, 2009) para uma melhor interpretação de suas informações. Assumindo que o Atlas se configura como um inventário lexicográfico pela natureza de suas informações, sua organização e extensão territorial abrangida (Haensch, 1997), busca-se também apresentar uma descrição de sua arquitetura textual sob a perspectiva da Multimodalidade (Pontes, 2009). Para tanto, a partir de uma abordagem teórico-metodológica fundamentada na Dialetologia, na Geolinguística e na Lexicografia, pretende-se neste trabalho lançar um primeiro olhar para a estrutura textual do Atlas, focalizando a interface entre essas áreas.

Linguistic atlas of Brazil and its lexicographic interface

Abstract 

This article aims to reflect about the textual typology of the Linguistic Atlas of Brazil - AliB, and to describe how it is configured as a lexicographical stock (Haensch, 1997), being aided by the theory of Multimodality (Pontes, 2009) for a better interpretation of its information. Assuming that the Atlas is configured as a lexicographic inventory by the nature of its information, its organization and territorial extension covered (Haensch, 1997), it also seeks to present a description of its textual architecture from the perspective of Multimodality (Pontes, 2009). To this end, from a theoretical-methodological approach based on Dialectology, Geolinguistics and Lexicography, it is intended in this work to take a first look at the textual structure of the Atlas, focusing on the interface between these áreas.
