Hace algún tiempo hicimos una entrevista a alguien a quien consideramos importante enel campo de la investigación teatral en Puerto Rico, Latinoamérica y otros lugares. Rosalina Perales es una investigadora, historiadora y crítica puertorriqueña que se ha desempeñado como profesora de literatura y teatro en la Universidad de Puerto Rico, por más de tres décadas.

Además de sus trabajos ensayísticos ha incursionado en el campo de la narrativa. Su ahínco investigativo la llevó a especializarse en el ámbito teatral, sobre todo en los países hispanoamericanos, temática de la que ha publicado dos extensos volúmenes. En otros libros trabaja con el teatro puertorriqueño (en Puerto Rico y Estados Unidos), el teatro infantil, biografías teatrales y antologías, estudios por los que ha sido premiada. Indagamos en su trayectoria, sus impresiones sobre la historia reciente de nuestro país y sus proyectos actuales.

Abstract

A while ago we made an interview to a person we consider important in the theaterresearch field in Puerto Rico, Latin America and other places. Rosalina Perales is a researcher,historian and critic who taught at the University of Puerto Rico for over three decades. In addition to her essayistic works she has narrative creations. Her research efforts drove her to specialize in the theatre field, particularly in the Latin American countries, a subject that produced two volumes and numerous essays and articles. In other books she works with Puerto Rican theater (in Puerto Rico and United States), children theater, theatrical biographies and anthologies.
