Resumen

En este trabajo se intenta hacer un acercamiento a los textos breves de la dramaturga puertorriqueña Carmen Zeta. Se presenta una aproximación a esta sección de su corpus dramático, constituido por siete piezas, mediante el examen de la relación entre el conflicto y su construcción. En estas piezas se establece un patrón estructural fundado en un ludus dramático entre la realidad conocida y la imposibilidad o ilusión. Para llegar hasta allí la dramaturga recurre a distintos géneros, técnicas, estructuras, recursos y otros signos lingüísticos y teatrales. Se compara la teoría cuántica de la física con el concepto de la ilusión en su teatro, ambas bifurcadas en dos direcciones cercanas: lo improbable y lo imposible.

Abstract

In this work we approach the short plays of the Puerto Rican playwright Carmen Zeta.  We address this section of her dramatic corpus, comprised of seven plays, by the study of the relation between the conflict and the way they are structured. In these texts we find an organic pattern based in a dramatic ludus between the factual reality and illusion. To achieve her goal the playwright appeals to different genres, techniques and other linguistic and theatrical resources. The concept of quantic physics theory is compared with the concept of illusion in these plays, both divided in two different directions: the improbable and the impossible.
