Resumen

Teatro migrante (2023) de Percy Encinas, Julia Thays y Carlos Gonzales Villanueva es una propuesta sin precedentes en la dramaturgia peruana última, no solo por el tratamiento de la migración como temática latente en su proceso creativo teatral, sino por la configuración del elemento “frontera” como catalizador de acciones en mundos icticios y distópicos, en los cuales las relaciones de poder y opresión no se asientan gracias a ejercicios de resistencia tales como el cuerpo, la música, la memoria y el arraigo.

Abstract

Migrant Theater (2023) by Percy Encinas, Julia Thays and Carlos Gonzales Villanueva is an unprecedented proposal in the latest Peruvian drama, not only because of the treatment of migration as a latent theme in its theatrical creative process, but also because of the configuration of the element " border” as a catalyst for actions in fictional and dystopian worlds, in which relations of power and oppression are not established thanks to resistance exercises such as the body, music, memory and roots.
