En este contexto epocal globalizado, nos proponemos reflexionar críticamente sobre las dificultades que encuentran las mujeres cuando deben recurrir a la administración de justicia para pedir auxilio frente a situaciones de violencia.

Para lo cual revisaremos la normativa vigente especialmente en la provincia de Buenos Aires, las prácticas que los operadores jurídicos sostienen tanto en sus resoluciones como en el testimonio que abre el camino a la instancia judicial. Partiendo de casos documentados donde aparece la voz de la mujer mostrando la incapacidad de las instituciones judiciales y administrativas para brindar respuestas a pesar de la versatilidad de normas tuitivas vigentes en la búsqueda de nuevas pistas que nos permitan construir miradas diferentes de un viejo problema.

Globalization: Women and access to justice

In the context of a time profoundly marked by globalization, the aim of the article is reflecting upon the difficulties women encounter when they have to file a complaint at court to ask for help in cases of domestic violence.

The present day laws in force in the province of Buenos Aires, the practices upheld by legal practitioners in their sentences and the testimonials that pave the path to the proceedings at Courts are discussed. The starting point is the analysis of fully documented cases where different women voices acknowledge the versatility of the available regulations for their protection, and at the same time, they pinpoint the lack of capacity of both the administration of justice and the administrative organizations to provide adequate responses.

Summing up, this is a search for clues which would lead to a new and different way of looking at a very old problem.
