La problemática de la filiación es trabajada desde una perspectiva freudiano-lacaniana, tomando como referente un cuento de Chesterton: “El martillo de Dios”, que es a su vez un apólogo. Se plantea una interpretación posible de aquél planteando algunas articulaciones simbólicas de los avatares filiatorios en este caso. Luego se sitúa una relación homológica entre dicha interpretación y la estructura de pausas puesta en juego en la sincronía –a nivel de la puntuación- en la presentación estética del relato. Se propone en ambos niveles de análisis –ético y estético- el efecto de un llamado a la alteridad.

The problematic of filiation is dealt with from a Freudian-Lacanian perspective, taking as a referent a tale by Chesterton “El martillo de Dios” (“God´s Hammer”), which is at the same time an apology. To start with a possible interpretation of the tale is proposed, to move later to a homologous relationship between that interpretation and the structure of pauses which plays in the synchronization – a level of punctuation-, a level that can be found in the text. In this homologation, an ethic key of the tale is proposed, finding in both level of analysis the production of a call to the other, which is definitely a call to the father´s role.
