¿Cuándo comenzaron —dentro del campo cultural postrevolucionario —las voces subalternas a mostrar sus signos de insubordinación frente al lenguaje oficial? ¿Cómo llegaron a institucionalizarse los dispositivos de coerción y violencia simbólica, que condujeron a la devaluación de muchas expresiones artísticas que llevaban la impronta de lo popular? ¿Es posible, entonces, leer el concepto de cultura popular como ese otro relato de lo suprimido por la historia oficial y la razón letrada? Este ensayo intenta responder estas interrogantes.

Abstract:
When, within the post-revolutionary cultural field, did subaltern voices begin to show their signs of insubordination against the official language? How did the devices or coercion and symbolic violence, which led to the devaluation of many artistic expressions that bore the stamp of "popular", get institutionalized? Is it possible, then, to read the concept of "popular culture" as the "other" story of the suppressed by official history and lettered (hegemonic) reasoning? In this paper we try to answer these questions.
