El presente artículo sugiere una lectura historiográfica del poemario Reducciones (2013) de Jaime Luis Huenún.
Esta óptica de análisis confiere unidad temática a las composiciones líricas que integran el texto, pues dibuja un itinerario poético que recorre toda la historiografía mapuche: desde el periodo colonial, pasando por la evangelización y la Pacificación de la Araucanía, hasta las actuales reivindicaciones de las comunidades indígenas por la recuperación de su territorio ancestral.

Abstract
The present article suggests a historical lecture on the book of poems Reducciones (2013) by Jaime Luis Huenún.
This analysis viewpoint gives thematic unit to the lyrical poetry that forms the text; it emphasizes a poetic route, which includes all the mapuche history: from the colonial period, including the evangelization and pacification of Araucanía, to the current recognitions of the indigenous communities in their reclamation of their ancestral territory.
