Rosalina Perales es investigadora, historiadora y crítica teatral. Entre sus publicaciones más destacadas se cuenta Me llaman desde allá (2010), libro que recibió el premio en la categoría de Investigación y Crítica otorgado por el Instituto de Literatura Puertorriqueña. En el 2011 el Pen Club de Puerto Rico le confirió el Premio Especial a la Excelencia por sus valiosas aportaciones a la investigación teatral.
