Abstract
The objective of this paper is to carry out a comparative study between the short story and the Argentinean short film –also contemplating some Latin American example– in the sixties and seventies. From three core concepts such as “modernity”, “political intentionality” and “marginality”, and taking into account certain structural and potential qualities of both supports, we will try to unravel in the corpus of chosen works the modalities in which these expressive means have developed two central postulates at the time approached: the aesthetic renewal of language and political radicalization.
