Abstract
The present book review centers on the book authored by Didier Fassin, Por una repolitiación del mundo; a work, so to speak, aimed at discussing the material and symbolic asymmetries generated by the global capitalism. While the biopolitics preserves and extends the life, further destruction and death emerge. Fassin discusses the paradox of the suffering (expressed through the biolegitimacy) from diverse angles with the goal to give answers to the contemporary problems of society today.
