Abstract

This article focuses in the recovery brought by the Spanish contemporary writer Agustín Fernández Mallo, of the great modernity topics (love or eternity) in the heart of contemporary society and the new social media conditions. The analysis will specifically pertain to the ironic context of love in his poem book Joan Fontaine Odisea (Mi Deconstrucción) and the use of the Borges-like parody in the story “Una Rosa Amarilla”, included in the collection titled El Hacedor (de Borges), Remake. The objective is to highlight the playful and experimental aspects, as well as the ironically serious ways the author applies to radicate modern values in literature and in the contemporary digital posthumanism scenario.

Resumen

Este artículo se enfoca en la recuperación por parte del escritor español contemporáneo Agustín Fernández Mallo de los grandes temas de la modernidad (el amor o la eternidad) en el seno de la sociedad contemporánea y las nuevas condiciones mediáticas. Se analizará en concreto al contexto irónico del amor en su poemario Joan Fontaine Odisea (mi deconstrucción) y el uso de la parodia borgiana en el cuento “Una rosa amarilla”, incluido en la colección El Hacedor (de Borges), Remake. El objetivo es poner en relieveel aspecto lúdico, experimental y los modos irónicamente serios que el autor emplea para radicar valores modernos en la literatura y en el escenario posthumanista digital contemporáneo.
