Resumen

A través de estas líneas, pretendemos enriquecer el diálogo intercultural, basándonos en el poemario Sendero de Volúbilis de Manuel Gahete, en el que cada poema configura un anhelo de existencia interior que dialoga con el pasado andalusí. De hecho, subrayaremos los temas tratados en este libro y destacaremos la profunda visión que tiene el poeta cordobés acerca del legado de Al-Ándalus y de su indeleble huella en la sociedad española. Un libro, en definitiva, testimonial y confesional, en cuyo centro late el sentir poético vertido en recuerdos de un pasado muy presente en la personalidad y en los versos del poeta.

Abstract

Through these lines, we intend to enrich intercultural dialogue, based on Manuel Gahete's collection of poems Sendero de Volúbilis, in which each poem configures a longing for an inner existence that dialogues with the Andalusian past. In fact, we will underline the themes dealt with in this book and highlight the profound vision that the poet from Cordoba has of the legacy of Al-Andalus and its indelible mark on Spanish society. This book, in short, is both testimonial and confessional pouring into memories of the past and still present in the poet’s personality and poetry.
