Resumen:

Artista interdisciplinaria, docente y autora de la tesis doctoral: Arte neuronal. Una aproximación al fenómeno neuronal de la experiencia estética a través de la obra Oraculum (Universidad de Guanajuato, abril de 2023), así como del cortometraje Eryngium Proteiflorum (2019), Seresitos y Seresitos II (2022), entre otras piezas donde combina la imagen fotográfica y la cinematografía con el arte sonoro, la doctora en artesy artista interdisciplinaria Diamida Ordaz nos comparte en la primera parte de esta entrevista inédita realizada a raíz de su participación en el XIV Congreso Internacional de las Artes de Guanajuato con la conferencia Experiencia estética y Arte neuronal, (Ordaz, Diamida 2024), lo que es precisamente el arte neuronal y cuál ha sido su experiencia como creadora dentro de este tipo de arte. (https://diamida.art/about) En la segunda parte de la entrevista, realizada el 5 de marzo de 2025, la misma artista nos habla sobre las piezas de su autoría “EnCéfalo” y “Cuando nos encontremos en Tlön”, un concierto audiovisual entre las neuronas y un asomo a Borges. Presentado en el foro Mauricio Achar de la librería Gandhi, Coyoacán CDMX, el 1 de marzo de 2025, con la participación de Luciana Castellani y Elliot Sandin.

Más allá del contenido como tal de la materia que ha ocupado a la Doctora Diamida en los últimos años y que ha sido el tema central de su tesis doctoral, me interesó preguntarle en esta entrevista sobre el aspecto circunstancial y vivencial, no sólo del proceso de investigación, sino además de la relación que ha habido entre el trabajo de investigación teórica, de docencia y la práctica como creadora que ha desarrollado en paralelo. Y también de qué manera su trabajo de creación audiovisual y sonora, cuyo tema constante ha sido la naturaleza, la ha llevado a construir una estética o una poética propia.

Abstract:

Interdisciplinary artist, teacher and author of the doctoral thesis: Neural Art. An approach to the neural phenomenon of the aesthetic experience through the work Oraculum (University of Guanajuato, April 2023), as well as the short film Eryngium Proteiflorum (2019), Seresitos and Seresitos II (2022), among other pieces where she combines the photographic image and cinematography with sound art, the doctor of arts and interdisciplinary artist Diamida Ordaz shares with us in the first part of this interview unpublished work carried out as a result of her participation in the XIV International Congress of the Arts of Guanajuato with the conference Aesthetic Experience and Neural Art, (Ordaz, Diamida 2024), what  precisely neural art  is and what has been her experience as a creator within this type of art. (https://diamida.art/about) In the second part of the interview, conducted on March 5, 2025, the same artist tells us about the pieces of her authorship "EnCéfalo" and "Cuando nos encontremos en Tlön", an audiovisual concert between neurons and a glimpse of Borges. Beyond the content as such of the subject that has occupied Dr. Diamida in recent years and that has been the central theme of her doctoral thesis, I was interested in asking her in this interview about the circumstantial and experiential aspect, not only of the research process, but also of the relationship that has existed between the theoretical research work,  of teaching and the practice as a creator that she has developed in parallel. And also, how her work of audiovisual and sound creation, whose constant theme has been nature, has led her to build her own aesthetics or poetics.
