Resumen

En este artículo se analiza cómo la pieza textil Río Santa Cruz de Alexandra Kehayoglou imbrica la experiencia del mirar y la vivencia del tacto. Así, en su cariz exhibitivo, da lugar a experimentar el espacio como un fenómeno háptico. De este modo, la obra puede pensarse como un espacio otro, una frontera entre el conocimiento y el placer sensual que se da a tocar al espectador en el límite de sí.

Abstract

This article analyses how Alexandra Kehayoglou's textile piece Río Santa Cruz interweaves the experiences of looking and touching. Thus, in its exhibitive aspect, it gives rise to the experience of space as a haptic phenomenon. In this way, the artwork can be considered as another space, an edge between knowledge and the sensual pleasure that is given to the spectator by touching at the limit of itself.
