Este trabajo pretende subrayar las ideas principales que el escritor argentino Ernesto Sábato vierte en uno de sus textos ensayísticos más importantes: Hombres y engranajes (1951).
El planteamiento principal, en ese sentido, aduce la necesidad de manifestar una toma de postura por parte del creador, al momento de representar los conflictos humanos, al tiempo que describir los trastrocamientos e influjos de un desarrollo material que se rige exclusivamente por el afán de lucro, y deniega el aspecto espiritual e introspectivo de la experiencia vital.

 

Abstract

This paper aims to highlight the main ideas that the Argentine writer Ernesto Sabato poured into one of its most important nonfiction texts: Men and Gears (1951). The main approach in this sense, argues the need for taking a stance manifest by the creator, at the time of representing human conflict, while reversals and influences describe the development of a material that is governed solely by the desire to profit, and denied the spiritual and introspective life experience.
