Resumen
No es posible entender el marxismo salvadoreño sin una lectura atenta de "La Biblia". La búsqueda constante del Padre martirizado nombra la causa revolucionaria y orienta la lucha por la justicia popular. El sacrificio paterno fundador es la enseñanza del enfoque de Roque Dalton (García) (1935-1975) al clásico líder nonualco Anastasio Aquino (1792-1833). La poética concibe la historiografía como la actualización de una antigua revuelta política, restaurada en el presente gracias a una nueva teología, preludio de la liberación. Prosiguiendo un flujo de versos nerudianos, los conceptos cristianos claves de este materialismo histórico designan la Vida como Vía Crucis, la Verdad unida a la Esperanza, la Revuelta, el Martirio, el Sacrificio, la Siembra y el Retoño como Flor (Anthos) y la Resurrección en sus adeptos, por un Acto eucarístico llamado Revolución. Además de estos conceptos elementales del marxismo cristiano, el ensayo identifica las fuentes primarias que inspiran a Dalton García, al igual que restituye el manuscrito inédito de "Dos puños por la tierra. Primer puño por la Tierra: Anastasio Aquino (Agosto de 1955)", para el cual Otto René Castillo escribe el "Segundo puño por la tierra: Atanasio Tzul (Agosto de 1955 - Abril de 1956)". Asimismo, el ensayo restituye varias ilustraciones originales que entablan un diálogo único con el texto poético.

Christian Marxism: "The Great Martyrdom" of "Father" Aquinas according to Roque Dalton (García)
Abstract
It is impossible to understand Salvadoran Marxism without a careful reading of "The Bible." The constant search for the martyred Father names the revolutionary cause and guides the struggle for popular justice. The foundational paternal sacrifice is the lesson of Roque Dalton (García)'s (1935-1975) approach to the classic Nonualco leader Anastasio Aquino (1792-1833). This poetics conceives of historiography as the updating of an ancient political revolt, restored in the present thanks to a new theology, a prelude to liberation. Following a flow of Nerudian verses, the key Christian concepts of this historical materialism designate Life as the Way of the Cross, Truth united with Hope, Revolt, Martyrdom, Sacrifice, Sowing and Sprouting as Flower (Anthos), and Resurrection in its adherents, through a Eucharistic Act called Revolution. In addition to these fundamental concepts of Christian Marxism, the essay identifies the primary sources that inspired Dalton García, and restores the unpublished manuscript of "Two Fists for the Earth. First Fist for the Earth: Anastasio Aquino (August 1955)," for which Otto René Castillo wrote "Second Fist for the Earth: Atanasio Tzul (August 1955 - April 1956)." Furthermore, the essay restores several original illustrations that engage in a unique dialogue with the poetic text.
