Resumen
El presente trabajo se propone estudiar los efectos de la traslación de novelas argentinas y latinoamericanas al cine nacional. Asimismo, los textos literarios sirvieron de punto de partida para alimentar el dispositivo genérico, con escasas excepciones. No se han descuidado tampoco los textos fílmicos basados en guiones. Los distintos géneros tienen sus propias leyes y, a tal efecto, requieren un enfoque de análisis particular. Por tal motivo se han utilizado diversos teóricos de acuerdo con las necesidades tanto del texto literario como del fílmico. A la vez, se ha intentado encuadrar el estudio dentro de la macroestructura en la que se incluyen novelas y películas. Se le dio la debida importancia a quienes trasladaban la letra escrita a las imágenes. Este enfoque ha permitido deducir que la película es una creación artística independiente de sus orígenes literarios. Su valor como producto cultural debe juzgarse a través de los códigos que le son propios.
Abstract
The present research aims to study the effects of the passage from Argentinian and Latin American novels to the national cinema. At the same time, the literary texts were the starting point to feed the different genres, although there are a few, very few exceptions. Nonetheless we have cared about the movies based upon scripts. The variety of genres has their own laws and, to the effect, they ask for different approaches. That is why different theoreticians have been used, according with the needs of both texts: the literary and the filmic ones. Of course it was necessary to widen the research looking for the links with the social, economical and political events. And all those who worked in the difficult task to write a script from a novel have received their due. The conclusion is that a movie is an independent artifact from the literary text which was the starting point. The value of the movie as a cultural product must be judged through the codes that belong to the cinema.
