Chicha culture is the contemporary expression of Peruvian subalterns’ cultural singularity, and also a means to resist coloniality. It is forged by the confluence of religious and cultural elements that become hybridized at some point of the subaltern's ethno-sway trajectory (whitening↔cholification).
